The Muse’s Toolbox is a journey of creative transformation.
A journey that offers opportunities in HOW to live your full potential while transcending any obstacles that gets in your way.
The Muse’s Toolbox is a program destined to take root throughout the country. It is my mission to support creatives of all disciplines by providing the knowledge, awareness and support in creating your masterpiece called LIFE. Empower yourself with the tools necessary to live as a prosperous artist.
We know being an artist is more than creating art on the page. We create the masterpiece called LIFE. We intend to empower artists with the physical, emotional, mental, and business tools necessary to bring creative goals & businesses to fruition. We are teaming up with creative consultants, artistic agents, marketing and branding experts, creative business masters, artistic copywriters, spiritual counselors, life coaches and professional artists, with a focused intent to realize this goal.
I want every creative soul to flourish economically and emotionally. Depression is the No.1 psychological disorder in the western world. (1) Having battled with depression on and off throughout my early adult life & with it accelerating to the “2nd most disabling condition in the world by 2020, behind heart disease,” (2) I’m devoted to finding solutions that transcend pain and despondency. NOW is the time to support all creatives with the opportunities needed to prosper.
The Muse's Toolbox is a supported journey into creative transformation.
Most people abandon their ideas when having trouble bringing them to fruition. They judge their inability to create what they intended as a failure or worst blame the dream for being to lofty and unattainable. The stuck feeling is mistaken for NO! Instead of no, not that way.
Instead of adjusting their course, they jettison it all together and are left with the pain of a dying. As with any death, there is a loss and that loss elicits the grieving process. Not realizing they’ve entered the grieving process can put the artist into a mild crisis for they are left with feelings of blame, denial, anger and depression. The Muse’s Toolbox offers tools that support moving out of depression while reclaiming your Joie de vivre.
The Muse’s Toolbox expands your awareness so you become more readily equipped to navigate the creative cycle, the highs and lows of living and creating your LIFE.
The Muse’s Toolbox is a program that supports direct experience. It teaches you How to use the tools of engagement, inspiration, motivation, and right action in achieving a positive emotional, mental, spiritual and creative mind-set. A strong creative mind-set is key to empowering yourself while overcoming any challenges that may arise. It is key to living your full potential.
Familiarizing yourself with the various tools the Muse’s offer will give you the skill and KNOW HOW to transform your life into creatively living your dreams come true. Where you were once stuck you’re now equipped and empowered to move yourself beyond the shadow and into the illuminated light where your creativity and hArt lead.

GLIMPSING DEEPER
- Creating Creative Environments | Your environment affects your well-being and should not be under estimated. In this section of the Muse’s Toolbox, we explore those affects and learn ways to create the best possible condition for us (and our families) to thrive. We will explore our physical environment, mental environment, emotional environment and spiritual environment.
- THE CREATIVE CYCLE | The Muse’s Toolbox presents the elements needed to complete the creative cycle. Space allows for expansion and creativity to emerge. It holds the physical, emotional and mental creative processes such as: AIR get an idea, FIRE take action, WATER - support the project, EARTH- ground idea into form. IT IS THE CREATIVE CYCLE. Knowing where you are within the creative cycle is key to creating what you desire. Each phase has a beginning, middle and end. Once we complete each cycle is when we realize our dream – it’s what allows us to CREATE the life desired. It provides us with one of the most useful tools in The Muse’s Toolbox – the key to HOW.
The OFFERING | 1. Unlocks feelings of STUCK 2. Allows the successful journey across the realm of HOW and into the land of KNOW. You know you have arrived when hearing yourself claim – WOW! I DID IT!
- CREATING THE CREATIVE MIND-SET | The Muse’s Toolbox supports the development expanding the perceptions of a creative mind. A strong creative mind-set affords you the ability to transcend challenges into opportunities of transformation. It is through consciously engaging transformation that you’re able to CREATE the life you desire. YOU KNOW HOW. You know what course of action is right for you.
THE OFFERING | Have you ever wondered why some people accomplish their dreams while others seem stuck and unable - despite their talent or effort? Have you ever wondered why some people endure while others break? It’s a strong creative mind-set.
The Muse’s Toolbox is for the artist currently struggling to CREATE the
life they want. For the most part, you are content with your everyday and yet something deep inside longs to break free, craves freedom, is hungry to share inspirations and aches to CREATE ART everyday. You want to LIVE your hART desires. The skills acquired in the Muse’s Toolbox allow you to do just that.

Hey Stephey!
I love this program you're offering and it got me to thinking; it could be a great opportunity to work with you and your clients once their creative portals have opened and are ready to bring their physical environments in alignment with their mental space. I can help them with the physical manifestation of their ideas and what they've learned through your program.
I am providing a coaching element to my design services that aligns with your "creating creative environments". My goal primarily is to discover my clients vision beyond their dream sofa or floral wallpaper.
I try to get an understanding of what they want to experience when they walk through their door, do they want their home to hug them back, is it to be shared with others, does it need to grow with them and if so are they steering in the direction they want their life to go.
If I just give them the design ideas for their space and send them off to put the plan/ideas into action themselves without following them through the process and checking in and giving them a safe place to sound off on about crippling anxieties, setbacks, and fears, then they may never have a home they truly enjoy...even if i do all the leg work for them.
I want to help people live with intention and not be seduced by the next best thing. The focus, unfortunately, for most is to bombard their environments with stuff. And really why shouldn't they. As someone who has to constantly keep up with design and industry trends, I can get that urge real quick to buy whatever I see because it's just so pretty. I get it home and there's no room, I've spent money I shouldn't have, and I'm not working towards my real creative vision for my home. I'm not living with intention. I'm usually filling some fear..some void. So this coaching element is crucial to get and keep my client on the right path.
Anyway, if you'd like to chat about it get in touch. I think it could be an awesome mashup of experience. But know pressure to do anything. Just an idea I had. Take care Stephey:)
I hope to see some videos of you teaching and speaking!
this sounds like a great class to offer to art schools. i think it is something practical that all artists need and i can see how there is a real need for this kind of teaching. you go stephey!
agirlandherbrush is wendy brightbill I enjoyed reading your guest post on Scoutie Girl: confessions of a paint from home mom
Thanks for visiting! One of the biggest concerns I had/have as an artist is HOW DO I SUPPORT MYSELF doing what I love. I think many artists would choose creating art over working a job they hate but most don't know how to make the switch or worse still that it is even an option. That's what this program is all about - options for the artist presented by artists. :)
This is such a marvelous sounding program. I don't work as a traditional artist, but I like to think of my work as my art project...and I wish that I had guidance like this a few years back. It is so needed for so many! I totally agree about this being presented to art students
